Bridge PR create Zube Case Study on work with British Gas

Zube Creative is a multi-disciplinary design agency based in Coventry, adept in creative branding and development, creative printed literature and creative media. They provide a range of professional design services from the initial draft right through to the finished product for clients nationwide.

Digital media is an area where Zube Creative holds a lot of expertise and it was upon sampling some of the digital design pieces it had done for previous clients that the UK's biggest energy supplier, British Gas called upon Zube Creative to undertake some digital design work.

As a result, Zube Creative has been commissioned to look after some of British Gas' design briefs and create eye-catching and attractive designs for use in British Gas' own marketing materials, particularly within their renewable heating division.

"We wanted a local business that was creative, experienced and speedy - Zube Creative ticked all the boxes. It is important for us to have material quickly turned around that still looks professional and Zube create attractive designs in no time at all," says Martin Orrill, Head of Renewable Heating at British Gas.

For Zube Creative, the partnership meant welcoming one of the country's biggest businesses as a new client, adding to their already impressive national portfolio. Paul Quinn, Creative Director of Zube says: "We are already lucky enough to work with a number of really well established national clients but to add British Gas to the mix is a really proud moment for us. They are a company that has a lot of ambition and new ideas that we can build on to create really innovative artwork - it's definitely an exciting time for us."

Zube Creative has just completed designing the template for the first ever British Gas Renewable Heating newsletter which has been distributed to its subscribed customer base. A well branded design with simple categories for content has been very well received by British Gas and its customers. It enables the reader to quickly access the latest news from British Gas, see their services at a glance and stay in touch with the company's development.

Martin adds "It is Zube Creative's experience and knowledge of web design that has helped. Any online design work needs to be instantly attractive and simple to navigate in order to retain a web visitor's attention for a long amount of time - just the click of a button can send them away if they are disinterested."

For Zube, it was a case of creating an eye-catching design that embodied everything that British Gas stand for - quality service, products and cost effectiveness. Once the principles of the business had been tied down, Zube planned a design that was easy to navigate and responsive to a viewer's needs.

"Newsletters need to be simple and effective so for British Gas we needed to create something in line with their current branding that enabled readers to quickly stay up to date with their latest news. By categorising the newsletter and giving it a simple yet effective streamlined design, people are able to look through it and read whichever sections appeal to them," adds Paul.

Further to taking advantage of Zube's professional design skills, it is important that British Gas has a client that they can rely on at all times; a business that is always approachable and full of fresh ideas - a business like Zube.

Martin comments: "it has been good fun working with Zube and it's hoped that Zube Creative will continue to work with British Gas in the longer term."

Zube Creative creates Searchlotto Branding
